Electrical Technician – Ohio or North Carolina
Safearth is looking for an enthusiastic Technician with a sense of adventure to join its successful engineering team with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge and world-class projects.
Safearth has invented and commercialized the world’s best grounding system test instruments. The role includes the use of machines and hand tools in our workshop for the manufacture and assembly of specialty components, and the maintenance and calibration of our customers’ large fleets of test equipment In addition, the successful candidate will help with grounding testing around North America.

Role and Purpose
The Electrical Engineer works within a collaborative team environment to deliver specialized electrical engineering consulting services to Safearth America’s clients while supporting the growth and technical excellence of the business.
This role is responsible for providing engineering expertise across grounding, lightning protection, electrical safety, and power system applications, combining technical analysis, field investigation, client engagement, and practical problem-solving to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Electrical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Grounding system performance assessment and testing
- Technical support and training
- Work health and safety compliance
- Client support and relationship management
- Team collaboration to ensure efficient use of machines and materials

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong sense of adventure
- Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment.
- Trade skills.
- Soldering skills.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment.
- Basic exposure to personal computers and common applications.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- United States Permanent or Temporary Resident (please specify temporary resident visa type).
- Current Driver’s License.
