We specialize in the design, specification, and commissioning of new and existing grounding systems. Safearth provides expert engineering design, testing and forensic services to asset owners and project teams across North America.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our business based in Ohio or North Carolina. This position involves participating in a team environment to provide specialist consulting services to Safearth’s clients and support Safearth activities in the following areas:
- Grounding system design and analysis
- Grounding system performance assessment, testing, and diagnostics
- Lightning protection system design, assessment, and risk mitigation
- Electrical shock safety studies and incident investigations
- Complex electrical problem-solving involving power, instrumentation, communications, and pipeline systems
- Power system modelling and engineering studies
- Technical training and knowledge sharing
- Work health and safety leadership
- Client relationship management and business development support

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong sense of adventure
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in operational planning and project management delivering consulting results.
- United States Permanent or Temporary Resident (please specify temporary resident visa type).
- Current Driver’s License.
- Ability to pursue Professional Registration.
